This is a huge food market in the park in stone town that ends at 11 pm. There is an amazing array of Swahili/Arab based culinary delights. Out of a few dollars you can eat your heart from the famous Zanzibar pizza to meat kababs, local fish, coconut bread, grilled cassava, roasted corn, chunky sweet potato, garlic chapatti and amazing fresh fruit selections at the amidst of this great atmosphere. It is a favorite place for many tourists and locals to spend in the evening. If you arrive at Zanzibar in the late afternoon it’s probably one of the first snaps of the place you’ll get. Set right on the seafront, you can pick up a beautiful breeze as tens of light night food alfresco stalls serve up a delicious selection of local Zanzibar cuisine.
